Gary R. Allen, M.D. |
Dr. Allen was born in
San Antonio, Texas and grew up in Dallas where he attended South Oak
Cliff High School.
Dr. Allen, graduated with highest honors from the
University of Texas at Austin
where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in
mathematics. He attended medical school at the University of Texas
Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and finished a three-year
residency in Family Practice at the University of Texas Medical
Branch in Galveston. Dr. Allen moved to Garland in 1977 to practice
medicine and has done so continuously ever since. He has served as
president of the Dallas Chapter of the American Academy of Family
Physicians and, on more than one occasion, as Chief of the Family
Practice Department at Baylor Medical Center at Garland.
Dr. Allen is married to Rachel and they have two daughters
together. His older daughter Susan is a pediatrician in the neonatal department at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Julie, his younger daughter, works as a pediatric neonatal intensive care unit nurse. Doctor Allen and his family have been blessed with two grandchildren. Dr. Allen enjoys photography, reading and time with his family.

Gary Bonacquisti, M.D. |
Dr.
Gary Bonacquisti, M.D. is an honors graduate from Robert Wood
Johnson Medical School, formally Rutgers Medical School.
Board Certified in Family and Preventative Medicine, Dr. Bonacquisti
has completed over 200 post-graduate hours in sports medicine. He is
a recognized national speaker on cardiovascular prevention including
topics in hypertension, high cholesterol and diabetes. In addition,
Dr. Bonacquisti currently serves as the Vice-President of
Presbyterian Hospital of Rockwall (opening October 2007).
Dr. Bonacquisti is very active in his community. He is the current
President of the Heritage Christian Academy school board in
Rockwall. On occasion, he can be seen on the stage of Rockwall
Community Playhouse. He is married to Lynette, former Miss New
Jersey (1990-1991), and is the father of two beautiful, talented
young ladies, Laryssa and Bryton. Dr. Bonacquisti loves to hunt,
fish and ride his Harley Davidson, but most of all loves to serve
the Lord in his practice of medicine. |

Rebecca Burchfiel, M.D. |
Dr.
Rebecca Burchfiel is a graduate of the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She completed her residency
training at UNC Chapel Family Medicine Residency where, in her third
year, she served as Chief Resident. It was also during this year
that she was recognized as Outstanding Resident and Resident Teacher
by the UNC residency-training department.
Dr. Burchfiel enjoys caring for the entire family, with a particular
interest in disease prevention, chronic disease management, and
women’s health. Since relocating to Rockwall in July of 2006, she
has become active in Lake Pointe Church and the Rockwall Chamber of
Commerce. Dr. Burchfiel very much enjoys spending time with her
husband, Jason, and her family. In addition, she also enjoys
traveling, reading and fitness. |

Ashley
Goodall, PA-C |
Mrs. Goodall was born and raised on the Gulf Coast of south Texas. After graduating from Brazoswood High School, she attended Stephen F. Austin State University, earning a bachelor’s degree with honors in biology. Mrs. Goodall earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She moved to Combine, Texas with her husband and son to begin her career as a physician assistant. Following her love for children, she chose a career in pediatrics and has now joined the Benchmark team to provide care for the entire family.
After leaving the busy, fast paced environment of downtown Houston, Mrs. Goodall and her husband Brad escaped to the small country town of Combine to raise their son, Cayden. Cayden began T-ball this spring and will enter Kindergarten this fall. In her off-time, Mrs. Goodall enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and close friends; whether it’s camping, fishing, traveling, or spending time on the water. They have family in the D-FW area, the Piney Woods of east Texas, as well as the Gulf Coast, and frequently travel to these areas to enjoy the fun each has to offer.

Beau
Meyer M.D. |
Dr.
Meyer was raised in Northwest Oklahoma and eventually moved to
Denton, Texas with his mother and two older brothers. He graduated
from Denton High and then attended the University of North Texas
where he received a degree in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Meyer
earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical
School at Galveston and completed his three years of Family Practice
residency in Corpus Christi.
Because his mother served as administrator for the UNT Health
Center, Dr. Meyer grew up exposed to various physicians who served
as role models. Very much a “people” person, he enjoys getting to
know his patients and their families and is privileged they consider
him part of their lives.
Dr. Meyers enjoys travel and scuba diving with his wife Tricia and his
sons Phillip and Collin. Tricia works for American Airlines and both his
sons attend The University of North Texas. Other activities and hobbies
that Dr. Meyer enjoy include reading, history, amateur astronomy and
working out. |

Benny R. Mrnustik M.D. |
Dr.
Mrnustik is a native Texan born in Houston and raised in Pasadena,
Texas. With the encouragement and love of his parents, he graduated
from Pasadena High School and attended the University of Houston
until his academic career took a temporary back seat to the needs of
his country. Dr. Mrnustik was a soldier in the US Army and a
translator for the National Security Agency. Upon his return from
the service, he graduated from the University of Houston.
After completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Mrnustik then
attended and graduated from the University of Texas Health Science
Center Medical School in San Antonio. His residency was at Memorial
Hospital Corpus Christi in Family Medicine.
Dr. Mrnustik chose the North Texas area for his practice because of
its strong sense of community and because he felt it would be a
great place to raise a family. Each day continues to bring him the
enjoyment that initially attracted him to medicine. Dr. Mrnustik is
looking forward to a long career in medicine with continued
contributions to the community and his profession. |

Sean G. Parker, M.D. |
Dr.
Parker grew up the oldest of six children in Charleston, South
Carolina, and later in Salt Lake City, Utah. He earned his
undergraduate degree in Human Biology (with honors) from the
University of Utah. He then attended the University of Utah School
of Medicine where he graduated in the top quarter of his class. Dr.
Parker was honored at graduation with the Alumni Award, awarded to
the student who most exemplifies the qualities of a good physician.
Dr. Parker came to Texas for specialty training in Family Medicine,
which he completed in 2000 at Baylor Medical Center at Garland. He
was Co-Chief Resident his senior year and received the Javad Fuziat
award for his extraordinary patient care during that year. His
practice has grown steadily since 1997.
In his off time, Dr. Parker enjoys traveling, boating in the Pacific
Northwest, visiting family in Utah, snow skiing, riding his Harley,
photography, painting, drawing, piano, picture framing, and just
about anything else he can get his hands on. |
